Task management Fire protection mechanic
We are looking for a person who has the following skills:
RESPONSABILITIES
* Install, maintain, redo and repair different types of fire protection systems and equipment such as: fire cabinets, fire pumps, underwater systems, air systems, preaction systems, foam systems, chemical systems) and other devices used to prevent and fight fires.
* Installation et entretien des réseaux d’extincteurs automatiques que l’on retrouve dans les immeubles et dans les industries.
* Installation and maintenance of automatic fire extinguisher networks found in buildings and industries.
*Apply procedures for the preparation, assembly, installation and connection of piping and accessories, as well as the activation, verification, and inspection of fire protection systems.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Good mathematical skills especially for fast and exact calculations
* Excellent physical condition and not suffer from vertigo
* Ease in the heights because you will have to climb in scaffolding to inspect or install piping in the ceilings
* Good visual-manual coordination
* Good manual skills and dexterity as you will have to handle various parts of devices and systems
* Sense of observation to quickly detect faults on systems and devices
* Thoroughness, precision, attention to detail because you will have to carry out work on delicate parts
* Good logical reasoning and analytical skills to be able to solve problems related to the functioning of sprinkler systems
* Ease of working in a team: because you should be able to work in collaboration with colleagues (other fire protection mechanics, pipefitters, electricians, other workers, building mechanics technicians, etc.)
* Resourceful, versatile
